NEW DECK COMING! But Honestly: Reflection Deck

NEW DECK COMING! But Honestly: Reflection Deck

Hello reader!! Davin here! I may not be able to greet you here but I hope by reading this blog you can share the same excitement. Anytime you read a text in CAPS, that's me screaming.

I’ve got something special I’ve been quietly building behind the scenes, and it’s time to share it with you all! We’re launching a brand-new Reflection Deck! (SOON HAHA) It's not just a new product, but a new way of helping you pause the noise, dig deeper, and actually create space for meaningful thought.

Here’s the truth I’ve been coming back to: we live in a world that rewards fast, loud, surface-level. But if you’ve ever found yourself stuck replaying what someone said, worrying about what you did, or going over the same conversation in your head for hours and you know what it’s like to be trapped in a loop.

Psychology teaches us that being stuck in that 'loop' is called rumination.

Research shows that rumination isn’t harmless. Rumination is found to prolong negative moods, block problem-solving, and it prevents you from self-actualization (personal growth in layman terms). On the other hand, reflection is a thoughtful and intentional. A simple text to show the difference):

1. What happened
2. Why it matters (rumination focuses on what went wrong)
3. What I’ll do next (reflection actually starts here/or at least the goal of refelction)

Here’s what I found: If we wanted a deck that helped people actually reflect (not ruminate), we needed to design it with both heart and research in mind.

What we did!

Our prompts are curated to encourage you to ask why and what's next vs just what went wrong.

We structured the prompts to move you from lighter questions (memories, gratitude) toward deeper ones (lessons, fears) in a safe sequence.

We made sure the language pulls you out of the “loop” and into curiosity: “What did I learn?” “What can I let go of?” “How do I want to show up next?”

We flagged common pitfalls of rumination, endless what-ifs, replaying mistakes and crafted prompts that help you shift into reflection rather than dwelling. CAN YOU FEEL MY EXCITEMENT HERE?

Why this deck matters

Because when you sit with the deck and genuinely ask something, or challenge yourself to open up, you've already took your first step into growth. You’re not just answering a question, you’re breaking a cycle. YEAH? YOU FEEL IT?

You’re choosing to reconnect to your true self. A better version of you.
You’re choosing to heal rather than to become a victim.

For me, seeing the moments happen — two friends using the deck under the soft hum of music and wine, tears flowing because they realised “we never really knew each other like this” — those stories keep me motivated. And hearing about a dad picking up a deck, landing on a prompt that triggered a long-overdue apology and hug — that’s why this deck exists.

What’s next

We’ll be releasing this deck very soon. But before that, I’d love you to jump in now:

Follow us (Instagram / TikTok / Facebook) so you don’t miss the launch.

Share this post with one person who’s always up for real talk! Or who might secretly need a little reflection.

Because genuine conversation doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when someone asks the right question. And that’s exactly what we created this for.

Thanks for being here. It’s time to reflect. It’s time to connect.
